Thanks, it’s the lycanthropy (and having one best friend dedicated to tossing things his way at every opportunity since third grade). There are 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 perks to growing fur every full moon.
He’s not quite back from the hole he’s dug himself into, but there’s that old, familiar feeling of the moon retreating beneath his skin, and it feels like relief and longing wrapped into one.
When he returns, though—he hopes everyone’s saved enough plain popcorn.
He's thinking a staycation. Maybe they could hit up Los Angeles again? Or they could go further north to San Francisco. Whatever she wants to do. He's hers as long as she'll have him.
There's instant relief with her enthusiastic response, so much so that Scott deflates a little--his expression loosens, his shoulders relax. No longer wire-taut.
⠀
that shy smile only makes him look even more perfect, not sure if that was what he was going for here?
oh my, she’d be crazy to turn that offer down. time spent with her favorite person 𝘢𝘯𝘥 a cozy weekend together? well ━ he doesn’t have to ask her twice. +
⠀
Scott operates with a certain degree of awareness and limitations. He doesn't feel owed her company, but he misses it. The last they spent any one-on-one time together was her birthday party and--okay, call him dramatic here, 𝘣𝘶𝘵--it feels like a life-time ago.
