Unchecked mass population burst that our country was not ready for after a massive war, this lead to lots of baby’s not getting the attention and support and structure they needed. Every industry they touched boomed but with it all of their childish faults they never grew out of took shape. This lead to a massive imbalance in wealth and regulations came in later that stunted the next generations. The laws they passed and the drugs they did devastated the country in so many ways. The baby boomers were the greatest boon to our nations growth but our biggest setback in modern history. Between Cold War fear and hatred to generational trauma, to trans movement to the blatant disregard to the space industry and science. A generation raised to praise muscles and guys with 3 girls on his hips. A generation that dominated the real estate market and defends oil like it’s the only answer. A generation that rigged a broken credit system into play. A generation that refuses to catch up to the times and let go of power. A generation that needs to retire! A generation that pushed plan b and abortion and drove their first wave of children to the highest suicide rates of several eras. Gen X has so few numbers because of the early mistakes of the boomers!!! And millennials fought for scraps that Gen Z will get handed to them in heaps. The generation war started by our parents will end and with this knowledge being historic fact. The boomers are twice as much of a curse as a they are a blessing to my nation. And boy were they a blessing.
