@AngelliAngelo @anet2111 I’m a nurse and I’m currently only choosing to work 2 days a week doing telephone triage and I’d do it more days if I could do it from my home. I’m not giving my life to an anonymous person who doesn’t believe in COVID. I owe my family more than that. Many older nurses retired.

I have refused to even work in them due to both the understaffed working conditions and the way they treat patients.

The people you speak of may have financial stability and decide not to pursue wealth at the expense of all those things, but would need to be in a comfortable position to do so- not average.

It’s also physically and emotionally draining. If you don’t gave someone to help or care for them you can’t even take on extra hours because of that.
