My sixth club visit , i was at the vibrant @RCMakindye , where service is not measured by a single project but by years of quiet, consistent impact.
From helping children discover the joy of reading at Kibuye Primary School to improving maternal health and giving generously to The Rotary Foundation, this is a club that truly lives Rotary every day.

In Gulu this weekend, something historic will happen. Twelve presidents-elect from 12 Rotary Clubs across Northern Uganda will be installed into office.

That also means Gulu City will welcome hundreds of Rotarians, Rotaractors, and guests from @rotaryd9213 for this special occasion.

And if that is not exciting enough, next year Omoro District will host the Rotary District Conference, bringing yet another major Rotary event to our region.

What a time to be alive.

If you want to make a meaningful difference in your community and truly live the Rotary motto of Service Above Self, find a Rotary Club near you and get involved. At the end of the day, few things are as fulfilling as serving humanity.

I attended the Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar for the Northern Region on Saturday at Acholi Inn. The highlight of the day was a bumper harvest, during which the Rotary Club of Gulu proudly inducted 10 new members into the club.

I had the honor of supporting District Governor Geoffrey Martin Kitakule by inducting two of the new members on his behalf.

This remarkable growth is a clear demonstration of the club’s commitment and seriousness as a Governor’s club. Bravo to the team, and congratulations to Gerald Obai on this milestone achievement.
