Iran Threatens Gulf Arab States with War if They Cooperate with the US in the Strait of Hormuz
A representative of the Iranian "Khatim al-Anbia" headquarters accused the Arab monarchies of the Gulf of supporting the United States and their attempts to establish control over the Strait of Hormuz. He stated that Washington's intervention undermines regional security and warned that Iran will not allow the US to control the strait, and any violations will be severely suppressed. He also warned that any cooperation between regional countries and the US will be considered a war against Iran, and in the event of the conflict escalating, the flames of war will engulf all the Gulf countries. He blamed the US and its allies for the escalation.
This ship was given clearance to pass the strait of Hormuz by The U.S. without even coordinating with the IRGC.
It is now in the bottom of the sea after catching fire.
For a safe passage through the strait, only The IRGC can give you clearance.
It’s a bad deal: You buy US weapons and air defense, your ships still get hit, and you must pay the US 20% of your ship’s value for protection!
The more you bow to America, the more you are humiliated.
Stop being our missiles’ magnet. 😉

FG Condemns killing Of 2 Nigerians In South Africa
The Federal Government strongly condemns the killing of two Nigerian nationals in South Africa and is demanding urgent investigation and prosecution of those responsible.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Mr. Emeka Charles Iroegbu was allegedly killed by Tshwane Metro Police officers on June 28th in Pretoria, while Mr. Musa Yunana Joe, popularly known as Big Joe, was shot dead in front of his shop in Witbank on the same day.
Earlier, on 20th April, 2026, these same officers were allegedly responsible for the extra-judicial killing of another Nigerian, Mr. Nnaemeka Mathew Andrew Ekpenyong.
Of great concern is that the killing was committed by yet-to-be-identified criminals.
This raises questions about deliberate attempt by some elements to wrongfully generalise and tag well-meaning, hard-working, and respectable Nigerians as criminals.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry further expresses concern over what it described as the targeting of Nigerians amid rising xenophobic protests, and condemned unguarded public statements by South African officials as hate speech.
The gang leaders of groups such as March on March and Operation Dudula, who incite violence and hate against fellow Africans, will also be held to account as a matter of regional and international criminal liability.
The Federal Government, therefore, calls on South African authorities to conduct urgent investigations into the two killings and several other pending cases of extra-judicial killings of Nigerian nationals and bring perpetrators to justice, warning that all options remain on the table if the trend continues.
Meanwhile, the evacuation process of registered Nigerians continues.
TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI RESCUE ABDUCTED NECO CANDIDATES IN LASSA, INTENSIFY SEARCH FOR REMAINING VICTIM
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have successfully rescued ten National Examinations Council (NECO) candidates and teachers abducted during an ISWAP attack on Lassa Community in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The attack, which occured at about 0900 hours (9:00 a.m.) on Monday, 29 June 2026, targeted the Technical Secondary School while the students were writing exams. Immediately upon reciept of the incident, Theatre Command scrambled both strike and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircrafts from the Air Component of OPHK to support troops mobilised to the area for a coordinated search and rescue operation.
The troops, with support from the air platforms overhead providing guidance, made contact around DAGGU and after the firefight, the operation has so far resulted in the successful rescue of ten victims, who were unhurt and are currently receiving the necessary care and support, while efforts remain ongoing to rescue the remaining victim and bring the perpetrators to justice. During the contact, troops out maneuvered the fleeing terrorists inflicting casualties on them and capturing seven of their motorcycles, significantly disrupting their escape. Regrettably, during the intense firefight, one gallant soldier of OPHK and a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force made the supreme sacrifice during the intense exchange of fire with the terrorists. Their courage, selflessness and unwavering commitment exemplify the collective resolve of security forces and local volunteers who continue to risk their lives daily to protect innocent citizens and restore peace across the North East.
In collaboration with other security agencies and relevant stakeholders, troops have intensified operations and sustained pressure on the terrorist elements responsible for the attack. Security measures across the affected area have also been reinforced to protect vulnerable communities, safeguard schools and prevent any recurrence. The incident further underscores the desperation of terrorist groups who, faced with sustained pressure from ongoing military operations, have resorted to attacking soft targets and vulnerable members of society in a futile attempt to sustain their campaign of terror. However, such cowardly acts will neither deter OPHK's resolve nor diminish its commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and restoring lasting peace and security across the North East.
Operation HADIN KAI remains steadfast in its mandate to protect civilians, safeguard critical national infrastructure, and create a secure environment for educational activities and other essential services to thrive. Members of the public are encouraged to remain vigilant and continue to provide timely and credible information to security agencies to facilitate prompt operational response. The public is also urged to disregard unverified reports and misinformation relating to this incident and rely only on updates issued through official channels, as ongoing operations may necessitate further verified updates.

OPERATION HADIN KAI DELIVERS ANOTHER DECISIVE BLOW TO ISWAP TERRORISTS
The Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI has once again demonstrated its operational dominance and combat readiness by successfully defeating ISWAP attack and launching a devastating counter-offensive against the terrorists in the Buratai axis.
In the early hours of 19 June 2026, ISWAP terrorists launched multiple attacks on troops' locations at Dusten Kura and Chara road in Buratai, Biu Local Government Area of Borno State. The alert troops, supported by robust intelligence, promptly detected the incursion and responded with superior firepower in a well-coordinated air and ground counter-attack.
The prompt and effective employment of the Air Component of OPHK, particularly Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance as well as precision strike platforms from the Nigerian Air force, proved decisive. The precision air support integrated seamlessly with ground forces, disrupted the terrorists' assault and inflicted heavy casualties on the attackers, forcing them to flee in confusion. It is worthy to note that no casualties were recorded on own troops, while the terrorists suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment.
This latest success underscores the high state of readiness of OPHK troops and the synergy between the ground and air components in maintaining relentless pressure on the terrorists. The Theatre Command remains committed to denying insurgents freedom of action and ensuring the safety of law-abiding citizens across the North East theatre.
The public is urged to continue providing timely intelligence to security forces and to remain vigilant. OPHK would comtinue to sustain aggressive offensive operations to decisively degrade terrorist capabilities and restore lasting peace to the region.
