@jessbowds78@PeteUK7@MMikejb My sister was in hospital for four weeks and had to pay back her universal credit and pip. No matter that her house was still accruing bills. Speechless.
Truly autumn….the acorns are prolific underfoot and make a crunchy carpet as you walk through the woods. After the rain last weekend the waters are now running clear and fast, a golden treasure of acorns in this local stream.
Cyprus…Athena royal beach hotel. Beautiful hotel and the entertainment was sometimes low key and sometimes fab. Great service. Lovely food. Nice walk into Paphos harbour too
@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow Set up a will 30 years ago and the solicitor disappeared when we wanted to update the info. No longer practising it seems. Same thing happened when mother in law died. Tracing a will is incredibly difficult. Always keep your own copies is good advice.
@HillWalker70 Even a week would be nice. My sons always save some annual leave for Christmas and take the week where they can. It doesn’t matter to some, but if you want Christmas off work you should be allowed to take it.
Stained glass. It’s addictive and has taken up my hobby time for the past 5 months. I need to get back to some sewing, just not sure when. 😂 retirement never looked so busy.
Christmas party time…Soula managed to keep the tinsel on for all of an hour. She won the retrieve competition, 14 objects in 2 minutes, that’s less than 10 seconds to go collect an item and bring it to me. She loves it!
@NiallHarbison And that’s how we train a dog….rewards for behaviour, good or bad, repeat, repeat, repeat, and they remember what got them the treat, so are literally asking for a reward. 🥰. Love everything you do, keep the stories coming Niall
@IanRouth Good thanks. The dogs let me sleep until 5:15 am which is an absolute joy. They have been waking at 2 for the past few weeks. Mostly it’s benji. Soula has an echocardiogram for a heart murmur in a few weeks. Hubby on a 3 day working retirement plan which he likes.
