@YogiRoth Year long “seasons” that force specialization is the worst. Few, if any, recreational options outside of an expensive club: volleyball. Creating comprehensive clubs that sponsor multiple sports with distinctive seasons so kids can freely switch between sports would be ideal.
@schwartzsteins You’ve honored your commitment if you stay through graduation. After that it’s on the program to have created an environment that you don’t want to leave.
@CaptainCons Participation in any sport at the collegiate level builds transferrable life skills. Only beef with your list is that I'd put team sports above individual sports. Golf, tennis, swimming, track & field etc. are all individual sports shoehorned into a team environment in college.
