A stratified ontology explains why nations are ethnic.

Critical realism sees reality as layered: biological, psychological, social and cultural strata, each emerging from the one below and irreducible to it.

On this account the nation isn't free-floating culture. It emerges from ethnicity, which emerges from kinship, descent and coalitional psychology, which are real generative mechanisms in the biological stratum.

Those lower strata constrain what can emerge above them without determining it.

So the ethnic element isn't an optional or regrettable addition to a civic core; it's the ontological ground from which the civic layer emerged. A civic nation cut off from its underlying ethnic substrate is like a mind without a brain.

Obviously 'big brained' intellectuals like Goodhart doesn't understand what contextual emergence could mean nor what a stratified ontology implies.

Crucial point here. Migration is not spontaneous. It is a massive and staggeringly complex logistical effort organized under the auspices of "humanitarian" NGOs, UN agencies, Catholic charities, human smugglers, and others, all cooperating towards the goal of moving as much biomass as possible from the third world to the first. None of this would be possible without the sustained efforts of the people who make it possible.

Since the people managing and manning these organizations are effectively the logistical tail of the migration war, they are legitimate targets for disruption, interference, sabotage, and other forms of direct action.

There’s a scene from the 1960 film version of The Time Machine that has been haunting my dreams of late.

In the film, the Time Traveller (Rod Taylor) has traveled almost a million years into the future, expecting that when he arrived he would find an advanced civilisation marked by the pursuit of learning. Instead, he finds the Eloi, a race of simple creatures in togas who are bred like cattle, and eaten, by the subterranean Morlocks.

In the film’s most harrowing scene, he’s taken by one of the Eloi to a centuries-old library housing the last books in existence, which crumble to dust in his hands.

“What have you done?” the Time Traveller demands, as the dreams of centuries turn to ash. “Thousands of years of building and rebuilding, creating and recreating! A million years, the sensitive men dying for their dreams, for what? So you can swim, and dance, and play.”

In the last couple weeks I see a lot of men on this platform arguing with a straight face that we should let AI generate our writing for us, that it’s the future, that there’s no fighting it. And I need you all to know that THIS is the ultimate end of a world in which everyone has machines write for them. There will be no more thinking, no more creative expression, no more art or literature. It’s what C. S. Lewis called “the abolition of man.” We will be no different from cattle and our libraries will turn to dust.

When ease and entertainment become the highest good, it’s not shocking that people will find clever ways to avoid work and study. But nor should it be surprising when the ultimate fate of the Eloi becomes our own.

I will defend it.

As shocking as it might be to people not paying attention the reality is that people do not consider their nation to be negotiable, and the importation of massively disparate peoples at scale poses an existential threat to the continuity of the nation.

The political class has thus raised an existential question that must be answered. And they have had their answer. Over and over again for decades. The people voted to retain their nations. But they were overruled by traitorous leaders who have manifested a system where the people are placed at the bottom rung of a racial caste system in their own countries.

In other words, the leadership class has declared your nation will be abolished whether you consent or not.

That is in effect a genocidal outcome whether the leadership class actually wants that or not. That is the telos of the system as it exists today.

And so this is not a point that can be negotiated. There can be no compromise on this point. And because the elite class persists and refuses to change course, violent conflict was made inevitable.

These riots are nothing. No one was murdered. These riots are a warning shot. They are an attempt to communicate to a completely tone deaf leadership class that this is not negotiable and their options are to acquiesce or go to war.

And if the system's telos is actually an existential question, if we genuinely do believe that to be true, as I do, then this is a completely legitimate casus belli and communicating that with these riots is a necessary escalation.

So I will defend what they are doing. It is ugly and brutal and it is objectively better for everyone for the state to acquiesce and allow an orderly resolution to this problem, but if the state will not only make that impossible but continue to exacerbate the issue at every opportunity then conflict is inevitable.
