@conservmillen There are approximately 36 couples for every one child who are waiting to adopt (mostly referring to infants/young children). Meanwhile there are 114,000 children in foster care waiting to be adopted- which is completely free for potential adoptive parents.

Actually, the unborn demand the total reordering of our lives if they survive to birth (Aka are not murdered by abortion), and this weird tendency of progressives to diminish them to an abstraction is incongruent with almost every pro life activist’s investment in single moms, at risk families, and children in foster care.

It is a shame that evangelicals are presented with the need to choose between the needs of the unborn and the needs of the impoverished and at-risk. But it’s also a false choice. We can advocate for and serve both.

@bairdlet 6. If a mom feels compelled to homeschool their child for whatever reason, never underestimate her abilities to figure out whatever she needs to in order to be successful. Never underestimate a mom who loves her child more than life & wants her child to succeed more than anything

2. Children don’t need to be spoon fed information. We assume if we don’t “teach” it then they won’t learn.
