It's notable that a place like Towns Co. (Trump +61 in '20) is at 92% of its final '20 turnout, while Clayton Co. (Biden +71) is at 69% of its '20 turnout. Doesn't tell us who will win GA, just that Dems have more work to do than Rs to turn out their vote in the final days.

@GabrielSterling while this is a great turnout, it is partially because some of us fear our vote being stolen. So while there is not as much evidence of total suppression, some of this is born out of Black folks wanting to ensure their vote is counted rather than suppressed.

The clip of Trump saying "you won't have to vote again after 4 years" is being taken WAY out of context. He's talking about low propensity, Christian voters, saying they need to vote this time, and in 4 years they can go back to their normal pattern of not voting.

Too long have we treated isolated incidents as siloed and inapplicable to us as a field. We are not operating in a bubble. We feel economic and racial pain just as others do even when we tell stories.

This is why good consulting and searches are not only about finding the next leader. The firm, the board, the staff must set that leader up for long term success.

If we’re not doing that, what are we doing here? How are we making our field any better?

We have a deeper mission as a theater field. A mission to be alive and vibrant. That can only happen with good leadership. If we want to see theater survive in the future, we must all join in and bring others along with us.
