@MikailSlater @dannyjnwong just throwing this out there? Why shouldn’t a very experienced qualified ACCP assist (because actually that’s what they could have been doing to understand the procedure further) a reg/cons? Not on the essential curriculum but qualified? always new skills to be learn

@MikailSlater @dannyjnwong Were you there to this conversation? Were you a first hand witness to the circumstances? There are always two sides to a story. Don’t pull down ACCPs when something very rarely happens has occurred.

@MikailSlater @dannyjnwong ACCPs aren’t there to replace They are there to be constant workforce that never leave at a high standard. Training opportunities are always there for anyone if the person asks. They are also not noctors they are advanced NURSE practitioners. Not one thinks they are a doctor!

@lucyjrparker @SteveBarclay Surely it must be apparent to the government and the public that the largest strike in 106 isn’t something that has been taken lightly by nurses. I BEG @SteveBarclay - come and spend substantial time (not a day!) on one ward/department with nurses and see what’s going on!

@timricketts_ It’s sad when cpr is done in circumstances where it shouldn’t be - dnacpr should be a conversation for gp, Ed and any hospital setting where appropriate (community and in-hospital) it’s a hard conversation in circumstances but a powerful conversation for dignity ❤️

@KatPaton13 a-lines/cvc I think that’s good as a supervised skill for as fy1 but a ‘sexy skill’. How often would you use that skill anywhere else? the physiological/pharmacological/surgical/medical/microbiological etc plethora of incredible stuff that is transferable. ❤️
