A state of emergency was declared aboard the Handala aid ship on the evening of July 26 as an Israeli drone and vessel approached the Gaza-bound boat.

“Interception possibly taking place. A vessel is currently approaching them,” the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which organised the voyage, said on Telegram.

Israeli authorities had earlier warned they would intercept the ship if it did not alter its course.

According to the coalition, the Handala was about 70 nautical miles off the coast of Gaza.

Departing from Italy, the Handala is carrying baby formula, food, and medical supplies in accordance with international maritime and humanitarian law. On board are 21 unarmed civilians, including lawmakers, healthcare workers, and volunteers

@WestMidRailway Well its not "all" stations then is it? Misleading information from the website seeing as 5-6 stops between new street and Sutton have been disregarded. Call the service what it is since its not a full rail replacement for all stations only selected ones deemed important enough.

Well its been 6 hours with no response despite at least a dozen responses in the last few hours to other people...I guess that answers the question whether they care about these stops (nope).

@WestMidRailway so it says "all stations" but then is missing quite a few...are those of needing to start/finish journeys at Aston, Gravelly Hill, Erdington, Chester Road and Wylde Green getting any rail replacement stops? Or do we just have to fend for ourselves?
