@Lambeaucheese4@Jourd_@zachkruse2 Yeah, unfortunately it’s a crowded room full of hyper athletic prospects. Excited to see how he does elsewhere, maybe he can take the next step. At least we probably don’t have to worry about him going to a division rival
@Lambeaucheese4@Jourd_@zachkruse2 It was especially apparent while Watson and Reed were out. You’d see him getting 8+ targets a game and he was rarely open; it was mostly very contested opportunities in tight coverage. He’s never been a shifty guy, his ceiling was always a good red zone jump ball threat.
@Jourd_@zachkruse2 Our receivers were in a bad way last year, it was a clear need. None of them made a jump like we expected. Doubs can't beat tight coverage or make big plays after the catch, he's just a possession guy. Sucks because he's been my favorite. Hope he balls out wherever he lands
@CW_Smith20@NFL Much harder to get sacks now though. QBs get the ball out much quicker and pass rushers rotate in and out of the game more often. And QBs in the 90s were statues
@CyMiz32 @BartWinklerShow At the end of the day no matter what you do it’s very hard to win in the NFL. I don’t see us approaching modern-day Tomlin levels of consistent mediocrity yet. If we don’t see this team turn into a legit contender the next 2 years, maybe the discussion should be had
@Motherfuher@YouWillGetRatio@AndyHermanNFL And wherever he goes is going to be a far worse situation than the Packers, which won’t help either. Best case he ends up with Dolphins or Steelers, or maybe Cardinals
@Motherfuher@YouWillGetRatio@AndyHermanNFL He is difficult for defenses to gameplan for on short notice, but it’s a LOT different being a full-time starter. We don’t know yet if he can fully read defenses. If he can execute a full playbook. It’s just not easy to play qb, but I sure hope he can succeed elsewhere
@YouWillGetRatio@AndyHermanNFL You don’t dump a legit qb just because his backup is flashy. I very much hope Willis succeeds wherever he goes, but I’d bet he won’t pan out as a starter
@LordLambeau@TylerHerrick The losses in ‘21 and ‘22 are pretty inexcusable. ‘20 we never had a chance against that run game, ‘24 was an amazing run in Love’s first year, ‘25 we had to play the SB champs. This year’s team is too injured to tell anything. MLF has his flaws but I don’t see the alternative.
