Since midnight, South Mumbai & Navi Mumbai have witnessed very heavy rainfall while the rest of Mumbai has largely seen passing showers.
The reason being the primary rainbands have shifted further south & many of them moving through Alibaug causing much of Mumbai to miss the heaviest cores.
Things may change over the next 2โ3 hours, with rainbands expected to shift back towards Mumbai. Yes, heavy rains are yet to come but running on delay.
For now expect passing showers.
