ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO, MY FIRST DOG PASSED AWAY AT 16.  GREAT COMPANION AND KEPT WATCH OVER MY WIFE AND I.  MISS HIM A LOT.

A FEW YEARS AGO I FELL ASLEEP IN MY FAV CHAIR NEAR THE FRONT DOOR WITH MY WIFE IN HER CHAIR NEXT TO ME, WATCHING ME AS I LIGHTLY SNORED.

IN MY LUCID DREAM, THE DOORBELL RANG.  MY WIFE JUMPED UP AND SAID, ‘ I WILL GE IT.’

SHE ANSWERED THE DOOR WHICH I COULD SEE.

THERE WAS A TALL GOOD LOOKING GUY ABOUT 30 WITH SANDY BROWN HAIR AND A SLIGHT BUILD.

MY WIFE, STANDING BY THE DOOR, LOOKED AT ME AND SAID, ‘HE IS ASKING FOR YOU!’

I GOT UP AND WALKED OVER.

ME:  WHO ARE YOU?
STRANGER:  I WAS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND WANTED TO STOP BY.
ME:  WHY?
STRANGER:  I USED TO LIVE HERE! HE DESCRIBED EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE TO A ’T’.
ME:  YOU DID!?  WITH WHO?
STRANGER: MY MOM AND DAD!
ME:  WHO WAS THAT?
STRANGER:  'YOU AND MOM, BOTH OF YOU STANDING HERE'.

IN MY DREAM I HIT THE FLOOR.

AT THAT MOMENT, I WOKE, MY WIFE STILL WATCHING ME AS I CRIED MY HEART OUT.

HE WAS OUR DOG KORKY!  I EXPLAINED TO HER WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED.  SHE SAID, ‘YOU BETTER GET SOME SLEEP!’

IF OUR DOGS HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB FOR US, I KNOW GOD GIVES THEM AN OPTION OF RETURNING IN HUMAN FORM

THEY WILL ALL RETURN, JUST LIKE THE DIAMONDS!
