Or better still what the written objectives guiding the process were? I couldn’t make any valid input without these really. Happy to put forward any thoughts that may be productive.

@AoAA_uk @Paul_Forsythe74 @johnrandall1980 @pharoah_paul That’s doesn’t mean it’s fit for purpose. And if every member applied they wouldn’t be given a position. So effectively 10% of the association dictate how it’s ran. I haven’t voted for any member on any position. How is that representative?

@AoAA_uk @Paul_Forsythe74 @johnrandall1980 @pharoah_paul Well I would respectfully suggest that the constitution isn’t fit for purpose in that case. Every member should want and be able to chose the most appropriate person to head our organisation. Not just a few committee members.

@Paul_Forsythe74 @AoAA_uk @johnrandall1980 @pharoah_paul I would expect the association to engage with its members on such matters. Why would anyone want to be part of something and have no say on how it’s run. Im sorry to say, but this isn’t how things should be run.

I find it hard to understand why any association wouldn’t formally inform its paying members of an impending change at board level and given said members an opportunity to choose who will head the association!
