@RichaEdits I feel like offering one extra free revision to a client who’s ready to pay for extra revision can be helpful. It shows that you care about the client’s satisfaction and helps you build a good relationship with them.
Fiverr is honestly the worst freelancing platform I’ve ever experienced.
I’ve faced this issue 2-3 times now, and it’s extremely frustrating. I deliver videos on time and maintain good quality, yet after delivery, some clients suddenly start making excuses, claiming that the video isn’t good enough or that they’re not satisfied with it.
Before starting the project, I clearly informed the client that I would not offer any refund once the work had started, and I asked them to think carefully before placing the order.
I’m 100% sure that some of these clients download the delivered videos, use them for their own purposes, and then come up with excuses to cancel the orders. And the worst part? Fiverr seems to support the cancellation without considering the freelancer’s side of the story.
Does Fiverr even care about the time, effort, and energy freelancers invest in every single project? We spend hours working on our clients’ requirements, trying our best to deliver quality work, only to have our efforts wasted by clients who take advantage of the system.
Freelancers deserve fair treatment too. Our time, hard work, and skills have value. A platform that connects freelancers with clients should protect both sides, not leave freelancers helpless when clients misuse the system. Honestly, this experience has been extremely disappointing
