After 1989 also, the birth certificate is not mandatory, if original PAN is available

If GO mandating the original birth certificate for minors, then why common people have to suffer based on the web page mistake. Pls take some action.

If birth certificate is mandatory requirement then passport application web page should be updated or the officers to be educated.

Today entered the office at 2.30pm and left at 7.00pm and again I have to visit with original birth certificate.

My children are born 2019 and 2021.

But from TCS staff, B verification officers, C verification officers and APO who is the head are not seeing the original PAN card.
Only requesting the original birth certificate. (Having xerox copy of the online certificate).

For minor passport purpose, we have visited the trichy passport seva office.

In passport application webpage, proof of age is birth certificate or PAN card any one original with xerox requested for children born before 2023.
