This is a well established mainstream, in my opinion, majority position in the history of Islam.

There is plenty evidence to show the greatest scholars of Islam made takfir of rafida.

This is what @ShaykhSulaiman and @Haqiqatjou want you to tolerate and accept as “Islamic practice” otherwise you are branded a “Wahhabi.”

If rejecting this makes me a Wahhabi, then I am the biggest Wahhabi.

أعوذ بالله من الكفر والزندقة

And this is the reality of what they package as “Pan-Islamic unity.” Not unity upon the Quran, not unity upon the Sunnah, not unity upon the understanding of the Salaf, but unity upon numerology, innovations, superstition, shirk and blatant falsehood. A unity where truth must be silenced so falsehood can sit comfortably.

By Allah جل جلاله, if calling out these practices of kufr, shirk and bidah makes one a Wahhabi, then الحمد لله for that. For the معيار has never changed: قال الله, قال رسوله ﷺ, قال الصحابة رضي الله عنهم.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ warned of the Ruwaybidah. It was said, “Who are the Ruwaybidah?” He said:

الرجل التافه يتكلم في أمر العامة

“The insignificant fool who speaks on public affairs.”

And look at the times we live in. Men who cannot even recite the Quran properly, let alone understand اصول العقيدة and منهج السلف, are now positioning themselves as the arbiters of “Islamic unity” for hundreds of millions of Muslims.

It is astonishing. Two individuals residing comfortably in the West, paying taxes to secular governments, speaking to nearly four hundred million Muslims about “unity,” while the very unity they call to is built upon tolerating shirk and innovation. This is not unity. This is dilution of الدين.

Islamic unity is not built by embracing every deviance and every innovated practice under the banner of brotherhood. Rather, unity is only upon truth.

واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعا ولا تفرقوا

Ibn Masud رضي الله عنه said that the rope of Allah is the Quran and the جماعة upon truth.

So no, we will not unite upon batil. We will not be guilt-tripped into accepting kufr and shirk for the sake of slogans. And we will not take our دين from internet personalities who confuse emotional rhetoric for knowledge.

The truth remains clear, even if the Ruwaybidah are many, especially those who keep screeching “Wahhabi” as though it is some form of refutation. It has become the شعار of the ignorant and the desperate. When they cannot refute the evidence, when the Quran and the Sunnah expose their innovations, their numerology, their grave-veneration, their exaggerated saint worship and their corrupted methodologies, the only weapon left in their arsenal is to cry “Wahhabi.”

As though tawhid itself has become an insult, as though rejecting shirk is now extremism, and as though clinging to the pure creed of the Salaf is something shameful. But the harsh reality is that “Wahhabi” in their mouths simply means the one who says your innovation is false, your shirk is shirk and your deviation is deviation. It means the one who refuses to sell his دين for popularity, politics, followers or emotional slogans.

This is nothing new. The Messengers were labelled before, the Prophets were called liars, madmen and sorcerers, and the people of truth in every age were slandered by the people of falsehood because truth suffocates falsehood and exposes it for what it is.

بل نقذف بالحق على الباطل فيدمغه فإذا هو زاهق

So let them screech. Let them cry “Wahhabi” until their throats dry out. It does not change the reality. The graves will never answer you, the dead will never save you, numbers and numerology will never guide you, innovations will never bring you closer to Allah جل جلاله, and emotional pan-Islamic slogans will never transform falsehood into truth.

The معيار remains what it has always been and what it will remain until the Day of Judgement: revelation over personalities, evidence over slogans, tawhid over compromise, Sunnah over innovation, and truth over every emotional appeal.

Every Muslim should fear the day they stand before Allah جل جلاله and realise those they defended against Ahl al-Sunnah were the very ones leading them into darkness under the banner of “unity.”
