Baloch women & children have endured hardships to travel to the capital & try to make their voices heard on the forced disappearance of their husbands, fathers, brothers, sons. Again they are met with hostility by fed govt & no pol party or civil society has reached out to them.

Remembering Nawab Khair Bux Marri today, a towering leader whose courage and unwavering love for Balochistan inspired generations. His struggle was never just for land, but for the dignity, rights, and future of his people. His legacy will continue to guide us.

Once again in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistani forces raided the home of Gullzadi Baloch, a Baloch Yakjehti Committee leader, and forcibly disappeared her. She had previously been abducted with her brother but was released after public pressure.
HRCB is extremely alarmed by the abduction of Gulzadi Baloch, a member of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), who has once again been forcibly taken by police and CTD personnel from Quetta.
This is the third time Gulzadi has been targeted. First, she was abducted on 12 March and later released. The second time, on 24 March, her home was raided — her belongings stolen, and her clothes destroyed. Now, she has been disappeared by state forces in front of her family from Brewery Road.
This escalating pattern of harassment is part of the state’s ongoing crackdown on BYC and peaceful activism in Balochistan.
We demand the immediate and safe release of Gulzadi Baloch and all detained BYC members. The repression of nonviolent activists must end.

Deeply disturbed to hear that Gulzadi Baloch has been abducted from Quetta. This is a grave violation of human rights and a blatant act of injustice. One has to wonder what message the authorities are trying to send by targeting voices instead of addressing legitimate concerns. Actions like these only deepen mistrust and instability. Things are out of control and this will only make matters worse.
Since late last night, all cellular networks and home WiFi in Balochistan have been shut down. The sole purpose of this blackout is to silence the voices of the oppressed. But no matter how many phones you disconnect, how many Baloch you abduct, or how many of us you imprison—we will continue to raise our voices. The more you try to suppress us, the louder we will become.

Mahrang Baloch fought against forced disappearances and extrajudicial killings—until she was imprisoned on terrorism and murder charges. But her arrest has only fired up protests and turned her into a national symbol of resistance. By @sid_abu

PAKISTAN: This Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan sees many activists, journalists, minorities and refugees spending the day under unlawful detention for simply exercising their human rights.
