Told suggestions Cody Gakpo has asked to leave #LFC are wide of the mark. Also nothing in his Egypt teammate Ahmed El-Shenawy's claim Mo Salah could return to Anfield.
A reminder that no serious historian, academic or anyone who has spent even minutes looking at Nazi Germany agrees with this. Hitler locked up the left, denounced the left. He was not a 'hardcore socialist.'

This XI has made a combined 2,571 appearances for Liverpool before today.
That's the most by a Reds starting XI for any match since May 2013 v Everton (2,587) - which was the last time both Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard started together for #LFC.

[🟢] NEW: Ibrahima Konaté has been in talks with Liverpool for 18 months, with no agreement yet after an initial offer was deemed too low. Talks were paused but have since resumed.
The most likely outcome is that the defender signs a new deal, with his current contract set to expire this summer.
Liverpool and Konaté have never been CLOSER to reaching an agreement, although details still need to be finalised.
Real Madrid are among admirers, but the expectation is that Konaté stays and wants his future resolved within the next few weeks ahead of the FIFA World Cup. 🇫🇷

These decisions ALWAYS go for City in a title race…
