@ayesharascoe heard this quote on your Weekend Edition, thought I'd share a funny take from John Oliver many years ago: https://t.co/eaXTYjcyBB (at 5m42s)
@InfluxDB Finally getting around to playing with 2.0 (am a huge 1.x fan). Is the v1 interactive shell available when running Influx as a Docker container? I can't seem to make it work.
@theindicator Hello from Singapore! Just listened to this episode on NPR One. Singapore founder Lee Kuan Yew attributed air conditioning as one of the main reasons for the country's massive economic growth over the last 50+ years. E.g.: https://t.co/DOH0pNxK3J
Hey @ridgewallet... love my wallet, 5+ years now! I'm ordering some replacement screws as I'm down to two on this side. But any thoughts on selling replacement skins? Mine's a bit beat-up. It got stabbed. 😭
@TweetTamimi Are you sure that was 1986? 20 MHz??? No way. Or: that was the absolute fastest thing you could possibly buy!! Our first XT in 1988 was 8 MHz; 286 in 1990 was 12. 😓
Here's a fun game you can play with your non-math/comp-sci friends! Bet them $20 you can guess their random number between 1 and 1000 in only 10 guesses! But they have to tell your "higher" or "lower". Works every time. #bettingtips#Quiz#binarysearch
@ManishYadav0719@SolaceDevs 2/2 so if you're subscribing to a particular command, regardless of name, then: app/*/create for example, this won't match your subscription anymore since you've accidentally introduced a new level. Hence the slash replacement! 👍🏼
@solace thought of the day; if using String variables as a topic level variable, remember to replaceAll("/", "|") or something similar so your topic levels don't get messed up! #mqtt#eda#microservices

To present the shiny new asset browser in Blender I worked on a little default-cube-sized diorama with a small asset library. (CC-0)
Big props to @JulienKaspar who made most of the models!
You can play around with it here:

@ManishYadav0719@SolaceDevs It's valid, but say you've defined your hierarchy as "app/objName/command". So level 3 is command. If you substitute in an object name for level 2 and it happens to have a slash, you've now messed up which level your consumer thinks the command is.
0/ I’m tired of hearing about observability replacing monitoring. It’s not going to, and that’s because it shouldn’t.
Observability will not _replace_ monitoring, it will _augment_ monitoring.
Here’s a thread about observability, and how monitoring can evolve to fit in: 👇
