@bryan_johnson Can’t tell if this is a joke or not. But my unsolicited two cents is that investing so much in protocols and optimization is a fools errand. IMO it’s obvious that true longevity will be fueled with AI created therapies that can cure basically anything
@TheShortBear I think this is right. My longer term investments are a bet that compute needed to run these models (in all their various use cases, video, personal agents, enterprise, etc) is essentially infinity.
@jukan05 @RobEducated The funny thing is this entire AI era was kicked off by a throw away research paper that Google published 8ish years ago. Google is still the best AI lab by a long shot.
@kycefn Sure but one could have made that argument pre computer. The productivity gain from using AI is real (speaking from personal experience.) I’m 100% convicted. Not sure on exact timeframe but it’s the obvious future imo
@kycefn More and more companies will need model compute to run their businesses. I know some companies that are spending $5k per month per engineer on compute (and they could use more if allowed.) That number will grow exponentially.
@Valckrie I think this is right. The AI infrastructure trade is the most obvious trade in my lifetime. At some point every company will essentially need to pay ransom to the hyperscalers for compute. Otherwise they can’t compete. Leverage up and hold for 10 years. That’s my plan.
@stevemagness I won’t disagree with the research but anecdotally the highest performing athletes I’ve seen / talked to actually DON’T get nervous. The view failure as an option and simply go and execute per their training
@nickschmidt@alphacharts365 I like Asheville, but much prefer to live in Charlotte. Mountains are 2 hours away. Beach 2-3 hours away. You get a modern city with lots of space. Greenways all over the place. Jacket weather is mid Nov to mid Feb. But you’ll have your occasional 60-70 degree day thrown in
@paxtrader777 I think that does make sense. Imagine a market that gradually slides down 10%. Bouncing here and there. That’s not a real panic, just price discovery. A market that panics 7%, stays there without a bounce is a real panic.
Or maybe not. The # is arbitrary, but I get the idea!
