@thatlawyerLisa This. This is extremely well reasoned and the type of discourse there should be around elections in general.
My oldest child is a Trump supporter. We rarely discuss it, but he sees Trump as an economic hope.
Myself, I see Trump as an economic disaster for the middle class
@SportsTalk953 Some good names on that list, but it also appears to be heavy on Mississippi River and east…maybe watch games further west than South Bend during the season?
@The_Real_Bob Very hard to do, and yet, that's the way to answer the selection committee's stupidity and ignorance in allocating regional berths. 0 conferences should have more than 4 host schools, but that opinion and $5.25 gets you Dutch Bros...
@AaronJFentress It seems many people forget that within days of Helfrich's promotion, UO agreed to limitations on recruiting contacts to settle NCAA violations under CK. Those limitations were just disappearing when Herbert and 5 offensive line starters arrived
@AaronJFentress@jeff_otterson If my memory serves: UO lost its best corner to a knee injury in practice. It lost 2 or 3 top line receivers in the final month; injuries late in the season were costly on both offense and defense.
@cool_hand12 I'll agree with your assessment, though I believe they need to learn how to play defense. Portland fans deserve more than a competitive team, and a big piece of that is being a healthy team.
@jfreeman72@andrewperloff They were referencing the past 40 years — Fouts and Moon are actually outside that range, though both played in the NFL within that time frame. Miller was a high school class of 1983.
Sheldon High School might be the greatest public school QB producer in Oregon, though.
@nickdaschel Better than Ainge? Probably not better at 3 sports, but Chris Miller was a DI recruit for basketball as well as football, and was drafted (and played in the minors) for baseball. Football was going to pay Miller more all along, though
