@BrigidLord1993@VictoryKnightX@Dexerto I'm waiting for the civil rights lawsuits against the AFPD. The city leaders aren't going to close ranks around dumbass cops and a police chief costing them millions in civil rights violations. This isn't going to go away soon.
@LundukeJournal If you’re running a version of MacOS older than 10.12 or iOS 17, this is an issue. Microsoft even says in the support article the solution is to update your OS.

@FaithLikeAbish2 I shared this comment, “throughout the history of the church in the U.S. from Van Buren and afterwards, I think we can all agree that every political party is capable of disappointing us equally.” It seemed help steer the discussion to protecting religious freedom and civic duty
@TheOfficerTatum@RadioGenoa Hasn’t France been doing stuff like this since at least the 1790’s? Importing the 3rd world didn’t help of course, but seems like France has one of these every few years or so. Unfortunately for France, the 3rd worlder’s aren’t going to riot and go home like the French used to do
@LDSLaw Genuine question, why are so few charged with perjury? Is it too hard to convict? Lazy prosecutors? It’s no surprise it happens all the time when it’s rarely, if ever, enforced.
@Edmond_DantesCM@DezGoth The Martin and Willie companies got stuck in Wyoming. Like most sane people, they didn’t want to live there.
Sincerely,
A descendant of a Martin handcart company pioneer.
@FrankBr05713205 Didn't the car manufactures have to come up with solutions to meet the gov't mandated CAFE standards? The gov't wanted lower emissions and higher MPG, which increased cost and complexity to modern engines to reach those mandates. The gov't should share a lot of the blame.
@NateForUtah Democrats passed the Affordable Care Act that brought us to this point and they own this decade+ fiasco. The GOP ended the subsidies propping up the monumental failure that is the ACA. Medicare for all won’t be any different. Full of empty promises and high costs.
@NRO@RichLowry The backlash stems from people demanding Hollywood play by the absurd identity rules they themselves created. It’s a free market and they can cast Pete Davidson to play Helen of Troy if they want. There’s also nothing inherently wrong with not buying what Hollywood is selling.
@ChristiesInc This is peak "Emperor's New Clothes". Turtles with paintbrushes taped to their asses can produce the same, if not, better paintings. But it must be harder to launder money off the asses of turtles I suppose.
@Manhattva@sltrib I'm sure the makers of The South Butte clothing thought the same thing as they ran face first into Trademark law. They played the innocent victims of a big, mean, organization too. They lost. Hopefully history repeats itself.
@sister_slay You're going to have to train the X algorithm here or there. For example, I made the mistake of making fun of Nate Blouin for pooping on a church parking lot. Now the algorithm thinks I want to hear about his whiny politics. When in doubt, mute the poop or X won't learn.
@sltrib It would garner more sympathy outside the teaching world if the writer explained how many hours per week teaching 3 classes per semester requires and why 4 classes is burdensome. Also, an idea of his salary is so we can determine if he’s really overworked and underpaid.
