David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros Discovery, hit with a massive "Pay your writers!" chant from Boston University students during his commencement speech. Love to see it. #WGAstrong
I'm incredibly proud of how transparent our union is. In the @WGAWest's strike announcement, we included a list of our proposals, and the AMPTP's responses. Read it for yourself: it explains in black and white we're forced to go on strike.
I watched the movie in today’s Framed literally yesterday and it still took me three turns because shots of planes are cheap-ass nonsense

Long ago, some actor was told “We’re making movies with sound now. I don’t care if you like it, either adapt your craft to the reality of the business or GTFO.” If you aren’t a good enough actor to take direction from an intimacy coordinator, GTFO. https://t.co/IwnRBxUKj6
@CACollingwood@JonFour @jpatrickrigney @heWIZARD I’d like to direct you to a little something called “every single episode of Murder She Wrote”. Also Boogie Nights, you troll.
@michaelcivey @pmiscove BUT, Baz also shares story credit with another writer. The screenplay credit splits 75% of the total residual, and the story credit splits the other 25%. So he gets 1/3rd of 75%, plus 1/2 of 25%, giving him a total of 37.5% of the residuals. So like 3/8ths? Is that how math goes?
@michaelcivey @pmiscove He gets 1/2 of 1/3rd for his first credit, and 1/2 of 1/3rd for his second credit (the writer without an ampersand gets a third all to himself).
I'm noticing things in these songs I've never noticed before. In the haunted mansion song there's a layer of what I can only describe as erratic soprano yodeling that's somehow key to the spookiness.
