Chatting with a Frontier Rep about why my internet service cost went up, and his response was that the cost of the internet service went up. So basically, it's more expensive because the price is higher?

@Spacekatgal We do vote-by-mail here in Oregon. It enables citizens to inform themselves, gives them time to choose, and freedom from long lines, harassment, and other means of preventing people from voting.

I was looking at Eeros today on their website, and used the Chat bot. The bot responded with my name, and couldn't figure out how it knew who I was. Then, a person responded later via Facebook chat. I'm still a little hazy on access to my info without explicit permission...

@countingcook Thank you! I found the MKV to be useful because you could just add the audio to the container. As a heads up, I've since run into audio sync issues. It starts out in sync, but slowly gets out of sync. I believe it's caused by a framerate/audio thing. Still investigating.

@goldbuick @wilw Can you qualify that? Virtually every company complies (and should) with legal warrants, and are obligated to respond to FISA/NSL requests for data. Or are you saying Cloudflare hands over all it's data?

@verso Presumably yes, but it also renders the whole of the census useless. The census depends on survey participants answering honestly. If we can't reliably measure of the questions, it throws the rest of the survey into question (no pun intended)
