On any journey, it’s really hard to plan for every possible scenario. Most people live in their heads without ever really pushing thought into action, so they have no idea what IS possible. When you can start moving outside your thoughts and into focused action, you start to define what’s actually possible, which is a beautiful thing if you are looking for a fresh start.
That being said, the journey is filled with surprises. Sometimes you might experience surprises on the mountaintop, and sometimes you might feel surprised by the scale. The surprise is not important because, as you know, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. What is important is adapting and pressing forward.
So now you know it’s possible to gain weight even after making great decisions, sometimes because of factors you didn’t know to consider. The amazing thing about this journey is that you can recalibrate knowing what you know today, which fundamentally makes you more informed and a better version of yourself.
Sharing your journey publicly must be really difficult at times, but you are also showing others, who may be stuck in their own heads, what is possible. Win, lose, or draw, that is a great way to spend your time.
Keep going!
Mark Cuban reveals why he thinks taking out a loan to start a business is one of the dumbest things you can do
"If you're starting a business and you take out a loan, you're a moron"
"There's so many uncertainties involved with starting a business, yet the one certainty you'll have is paying back your loan. The bank doesn't care about your business unless it's family"
"99% of small businesses you can start with next to no capital. It's more about effort"
"Small businesses don't fail for lack of capital. They fail for lack of brains, they fail for lack of effort"
"If you're going to compete with me in one of my businesses, you better realize I'm working 24 hours a day to kick your a**"
@MatthewBerman I had the same experience, took it as a reason to overhaul some things. I have yet to get @openai oauth to work so I reverted back to anthropic and things started working again.
"Imagine how hard it is to start your business, then multiply that by infinity. If you're still committed to do it, and you have the stamina to stick with that, then you'll be successful." —@ToddGraves
👀 Up to something season. We don’t usually make awards — but when it’s about celebrating leadership and lifting up our city, we’re all in.
Built for @visitindy’s Level Up event and presented to @PatMcAfeeShow , this Leadership Award is a small part of something much bigger happening here in Indy.

@ToneDigz Last few snow storms I’ve been flexing my
Power Shovel to the neighbors. But this one has me thinking I need more HP. So looks like I’ll be in the snow blower market come summer time. #protip
@StoolMintzy@BizNasty2point0@BarstoolYak So unfortunately I don’t think this is drywall @StoolMintzy . @BizNasty2point0 said its a portola plaster finish. The entire wall has to be repaired, then recoated several times. Best to call it Art, maybe just add a little plaque that tells the background like a monument?
