She finally said out loud what we all knew deep down.
Chicago probate records reveal that when Michelle Obama’s grandmother passed in 1986, she left behind $10,000 and a gold chain to “My darling grandson Michael.”
The family’s attorney has since labeled the records “privileged” and refused to comment.
Why would they fight so hard to keep this buried?

Just finished a July 4th fireworks show on the 3rd. It’s the second year in a row that the city we watched fireworks from didn’t have any patriot music. Anyone else?
@erichoke Just had a convo about this with a young man who left the pastorate to get his MFT. He’s got a “better” life but he misses the burden of the grind. I love the burden and the grind. I’d miss it.
@erichoke It’s interesting Eric. I’ve had several young evangelicals leave our church for the Orthodox Church bc it’s the oldest tradition. Not to sure what to make of it. Anyone else seeing this happening?
Does a person need to believe in the trinity to be saved? Would you suggest a person leave - church for denying the trinity? I asked a young man today to either submit to our theological vision or leave. Advice? @Sean_McDowell
@JeffVanderstelt@aaron_clayton Totally agree. We have women pastors and we don’t think being a staff pastor in a church is the same as being an elder in the church. We see pastors as a spiritual gift that is for both genders. Elder is an office.
I was on a walk today and a neighbor asked a 8 year old boy shooting hoops who he wanted to win the NBA championship..and he said the TWolves….and I live in SoCal. ANT is him. 👏
@badtothebone124@TheGermanicist Thx Bryan for your reply. I love my LDS friends. I’ve done multiple events with local wards and enjoyed friendships with several bishops. You did articulate what the LDS have told me about grace. We just interpret the passages differently. the discussion is a worthy one.
@Protestia I used to take christian college students to BYU for yearly evangelism/theological dialogues and on the surface this is true, but not when you get deep into their terminology and meaning - especially around grace and the identity of Jesus. This is giving too much to the LDS.
@rolleyjogger@JeffreyPWiesner It sounds like you’re more of a missionary in this situation - and glad you’re fruitful. But is Jeff a full time pastor? No? I think there might be some sense of standard for him and his family as an elder?
