The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
🚨 Rochdale and York City have released the following joint statement:
“This Saturday’s game brings an end to one of the most thrilling, exciting and unpredictable title races in football history. Both ourselves and Rochdale have the chance to write our names in National League history.
The National League is no longer a non-league competition. It is effectively a League 3, with fully professional clubs operating at a level equal to or higher than many of those in League 2.
We both understand how important this game is to both clubs and supporters. We both pledge now that whatever happens tomorrow, we will both continue to fight for 3UP.
Both clubs sit on over 100 points. One of us will have to fight once more in the National League Play-Offs. However, we both strongly believe that this shouldn’t have to be the case.
We call on the National League, Football Regulator, EFL and Premier League to come together immediately and resolve this issue, so that we do not have to highlight this injustice year after year.
For both sets of supporters attending the Crown Oil Arena this weekend, we say thank you for being with us all season. The passion you’ve shown for both clubs has been felt across the world. This game will be seen far and wide. We want to showcase this league for all its potential. Keep your support in the stands, not on the pitch, and let’s all protect the game we love.
Thank you!
Rochdale AFC & York City FC”
How bad is the @Titans marketing department?
The Titans are on the verge of their biggest fan-facing moment in years, and somehow they’ve made a full rebrand feel small.
1. You’re unveiling a new era in a 4,500-person venue instead of making it feel like a statewide fan event (that won’t even be broadcast whatsoever)
2. The official team store is literally closed on reveal day and doesn’t reopen until Friday AND supposedly the new merch won’t even be available online until tomorrow either
3. The public teaser campaign was basically a patch, a date, and a few billboards. No real build-up, no real fan engagement
4. In 2018, the reveal was a Broadway spectacle and fans could buy jerseys that same night. In 2026, this feels less like a celebration and more like an invite-only corporate presentation
How do you fumble the easiest branding layup this franchise has had in years?
This should’ve been a SLAM DUNK to start the new league year.
Thoughts #Titans fans?
@fashion_nfl Just like everything else as a Titans fan, expect the worst and you won’t be disappointed.
New logo is bland and boring, white on white helmet is bland and boring, everything else will probably be decent. It’ll be a C+ result.
It seems that the #Titans have released a date for at least a teaser of their new uniforms as billboards sporting navy blue tri-stars on a Titan Blue background have been seen in Nashville.
The date 3.12.26….more to come!
