Brilliant #innovation in this alarm clock at Castle Pena in Sintra, Portugal. It has two parts. On the right side is a sundial. On the left side is a magnifying glass aimed at the fuse of a tiny cannon. Every morning the cannon is armed, and at noon the sunlight ignites the fuse.
