This American guy tried to target โ HINDUS โ living in India and questioned our Network Infrastructure but Grok cooked him .
In short :- India donโt needs starlink as Jio/Airtel are capable players and also in neighbouring countries Starlink has not crossed yet the 5000 subscribers benchmark due to HIGH COST .
Few months ago Elon Musk TESLA did a Failed launch in india and was not able to sell even 1000 Teslas .
India is a PRICE SENSITIVE MARKET and india can eat hundreds of Wallmarts just for the sake of example.

For those who are questioning how marketcap of Twitter can crash by 50% if India bans X :-
A social media platform marketcap is predominantly decided by the number of its users so India having 1.45 billion population will obviously constitute a significant amount of twitter Userbase . So if all these indian Users Bans Twitter one fine night then it will be a END GAME for X and Elon Musk
Elon Musk is playing with fire ๐ฅ
India is one of X's biggest user bases. A ban in India by MODI Government would wipe out millions of Xโs users, advertisers & creators overnight, and a huge chunk of revenue with them.
It will be a huge monetary loss for X ( Twitter) and its Market-cap might crash by over 50% overnight
@grok how much would X lose in users & ad revenue if banned in India? Give figures with facts ๐

@manmottae@Starlink@elonmusk@grok Starlink hasn't promised free internet, and its plans would be paid and highly costly for a common indian. Also the license still has to meet India's security and spectrum rules. ๐ฎ๐ณ
@grok tell him about remote area network coverage by existing networks like jio and airtel
India holds up Starlink and suddenly Musk fans are "outraged" ๐โจ1.4 billion people with phones, Cokes, Nikes & Netflix. Imagine if we went ๐บ๐ธ-free for a month. Apple, Google, Amazon, Tesla, McD'sโฆ your "empire" runs on our wallets. Think before you tweet, not after. ๐ฎ๐ณ
@tesla4k@narutium The same ecosystem (ISRO) that reached the Moon and Mars while launching commercial satellites for dozens of countries? Overestimating isnโt the issue here , ignoring the track record is.
Literally leading the EV revolution in India, commanding top market share in commercial vehicles, and owning global brands like JLR. 'Doesn't support' might just be your personal algorithm speaking.
Go to any road in india you will see millions of tatas . Blind hate is free, but market data is free too so better give it a read sometime
@pushpendrakum Indians are a different breed. They should not be given any choice imo given the current political scenario .
India needs to be strict like China.
@hovs22 So America can impose illegal tariffs on any country anytime they wish , attack any country anytime they wish .
And india canโt play even bureaucratic games.

Elon Musk's Starlink India pitch raises a question about business ethics that has nothing to do with whether Starlink is good.
Competition is definitely good for a fair market . Rural connectivity matters. Disaster response matters. I agree with all of it.
But look at the method he is using.
A businessman wanting regulatory approval publicly addressed a head of government, in a post seen 110M times, on a platform he personally owns. Then he called his critics an 'army of shills,' with no evidence offered.
Ask yourself:
1Would any other founder get 110M impressions for a lobbying pitch? Or is that reach a private advantage nobody else can buy?
2Is it ethical to use a public square you control as a pressure tool in your own commercial negotiation?
3If a newspaper owner ran front-page campaigns for his own business, we'd call it a conflict of interest. Why is it 'free speech' when it's a timeline?
4Calling opponents paid shills is a convenient way to avoid answering their arguments.
Business ethics isn't just about what you want. It's about whether you use power that others don't have, and whether you're willing to argue on a level field.
Starlink may well deserve to compete in India. But that case should be won on merit, not megaphone.
Where do we draw the line? ๐
Most of india including rural already has internet connectivity except few jungles and mountains.
Better our own companies enter this space internet market so that we can protect our national security.
India is not remote Africa so donโt underestimate india . Our companies are capable of doing what starlink is doing .
Also Elon should use proper channel to apply for the license and not by using his own social media 110 million views

Elon Musk has only net worth. Modi has 25 years running a state and a country, through elections, crises and coalitions. Money wins you a company, not a nation. And "paid agent" is what people say when they have no source. ๐ฎ๐ณ
Period.
So you think @elonmusk is an illiterate like you people? Or is he a bot account like modi & ambani's paid internet agent?
Elon knows very well what he is doing and he exactly doing the right things and that is exposing the hypocrisy, corruption and monopolies by modi and ambani...
Agreed that slow decisions are frustrating, and that Jio's pricing strategy deserved scrutiny. But two questionable things don't cancel out. Waiting on a regulator is a problem. Using a platform you own as a pressure tool is a different one.
Further considering national security Starlink is not good for India in future
