They argue that India's strength historically came from coexistence and cultural diversity, not from ideological attempts to define nationalism through a single religious lens.

The growing communal tensions, lynchings, hate speeches, and polarization witnessed in recent years have intensified concerns that the RSS's ideological project is undermining the constitutional values of secularism, equality, and fraternity that form the foundation of the Indian republic.

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maharashtra believes that the "Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana" is a good initiative for strengthening women’s economic security and deserves effective implementation. At the same time, the CAG’s findings of ₹3,541 crore excess expenditure and ₹15,586 crore parked in deposit accounts raise serious concerns about good governance, financial discipline and transparency in our state. The Government of Maharashtra should implement the CAG’s recommendations, strengthen financial management, and ensure every rupee meant for women’s welfare reaches beneficiaries through transparent, efficient, and accountable governance. At the same time, the government should ensure that the said scheme should not result in "crowding out effect" and negatively impact funding for essential and important infrastructure projects and beneficial social sector schemes.

Also, it is being reported that the number of beneficiaries fell from about 2.43 crore to just over 1.5 crore, with more than 92 lakh names removed after verification carried out by the Maharashtra government after concerns about ineligible beneficiaries and audit observations. We feel that many of these deleted names include genuine beneficiaries that have been excluded because of eKYC or documentation problems. The government must provide opportunities for them to complete the verification process.
