He has scholarship players on the roster that he recruited just like every other program but he wanted another one. And he scored big with Beason.

It’s not what they wanted. And that’s ok, NE uses the portal too. NE is one of the first teams to have big name transfers. They just haven’t had many the past few years.

HALF of the transfers last year did not see the court. Maybe they were looking for a program like Texas and didn’t have that experience where they started.

Everyone does it (hello WI and good for them) but Texas is the first to make all the pieces work. Without Beason NE is not nearly as successful as there are this year. Do what’s best for the players!

@njstone52 @jogv72 @HuskerVB Article was not correct…Fleck who most certainly made Texas better was a grad transfer and Caffey who was granted an additional year by NCAA but something about no scholarships left at Neb. Any other transfers are there for 2-3 years.

@njstone52 @jogv72 @HuskerVB What 6 grad transfers? They had Fleck…all others were/are on the team for multiple years, transferring as underclassmen.
