1. Anwar Ibrahim, the tenth Malaysian Prime Minister is an amazing liar.

2. He stated in Jakarta “But if they themselves admit – not as an accusation but as a declaration – that ‘I(Mahathir) or my son own RM1.2 billion, and another one RM4 billion’, then the money must be returned. “You must pay it back, unless you can clearly explain where the funds came from”. I never admitted and I have explained where my wealth came from.

3. Where does he get all these figures and statements? His Chief Commissioner of MACC had carried out full investigation and has stated that “Mokhzani declared assets are worth around RM1 billion while Mirzan declared RM246.2 million to the MACC.

4. And the Chief Commissioner Azam Baki, stated SPRM (MACC) was satisfied (berpuas hati) with the declaration made by Mokhzani and Mirzan as given above.|

5. Was Azam Baki satisfied without knowing the sources of this wealth. The MACC questioned my sons many times, each time for many hours. Did MACC ask about the sources of the wealth as declared.

6. Azam Baki did not talk about cash. He was talking about the value of the wealth of the two. These were made up of property, shares, liabilities etc. which were acquired during 20 years plus of doing business. Such properties appreciate in value over time.

7. The MACC did not state that the sources are “unclear or illegitimate”. The MACC and Azam Baki cannot state they are satisfied “if the declarations are unclear or illegitimate”.

8. Why should I or my sons admit to something that is not true. I or my sons never declared we own the RM1.2 billion or 4 billion. The MACC said we declared that Mokhzani wealth is worth RM1 billion and Mirzan wealth is worth RM 246.2 million. And the MACC is satisfied with the declaration.

9. Is Anwar demanding that we sell all our property and give the proceed to the Government. On what ground is he making this demand.

10. As for the demonstration on 26 July, it was not about supporting me or my sons. The people are asking Anwar to step down. They don’t want him because his being PM has caused a lot of misery among the people. If he doesn’t believe the people don’t want him as Prime Minister, he should dissolve Parliament and hold a General Election. It is not the members of Parliament who demonstrated. So a motion in Parliament is irrelevant.

1. Anwar cabar supaya pihak lawan mengemukakan usul tidak percaya (no confidence motion) dalam dewan rakyat, kalau berhasrat menjatuh Kerajaan.

2. Wah! Berani betul.

3. Tetapi semua ahli dewan rakyat yang sokong Anwar amat takut akan tindakan yang akan diambil kepada mereka jika mereka tidak sokong Anwar apabila usul tidak percaya dibawa oleh pihak lawan.

4. Ada antara penyokong Anwar yang akan kena penjara jika tidak diselamat oleh Anwar. Ada juga yang akan hilang peruntukan jika tidak sokong Anwar.

5. Wakil rakyat yang sokong Anwar sokong kerana takut. Mereka tidak bebas. Sebab itu Anwar boleh menang kalau usul tidak percaya kepadanya dibahas dalam parlimen.

6. Ahli UMNO yang menyertai perhimpunan raksasa pun sudah diugut, diberi amaran.

7. Kalau Anwar betul-betul berani, bubar sahaja parlimen dan adakan PRU sekarang. Dia tak perlu takut kerana konco-konconya melapor hanya 15,000 orang, hadir perhimpunan. Dia tentu menang.

8. Dengan PRU, Anwar akan tahu rakyat sokong dia atau tidak. Anwar bukan pilihan rakyat untuk jadi Perdana Menteri. Dia jadi PM kerana menghentikan perbicaraan seorang pemimpin supaya ia boleh bawa partinya sokong Anwar.

9. Tetapi PRU boleh tentukan sokongan oleh rakyat benar dan demokratik. Oleh itu bubarlah parlimen dan adakan PRU sekarang.

1.Pada 26 hari bulan Julai satu perhimpuan raksasa akan diadakan di Dataran Merdeka.

2.Perhimpunan ini aman mengikut Perlembagaan Negara.

3.Mengikut laporan dalam media 2000 (dua ribu) polis konon akan tentukan tidak ada senjata dibawa oleh peserta.

4.Seperti di Alor Setar semua jalan ke Kuala Lumpur akan ada road block sebelum dan pada 26hb Julai.

5.Undang-undang negara membenar sekatan jalan oleh polis. Tetapi undang-undang juga melarang sebarang tindakan yang akan gagalkan kehadiran di rapat raksasa.

6.Akan ada puak tertentu yang akan bawa senjata. Ini cara mereka untuk polis ada road block.

7.Inilah cara PMX.

8.Undang-undang tidak diturut tetapi disalah guna.

9.Tidak ada rule of law dalam Kerajaan PMX.

10.Hanya seperti dahulu salah guna kuasa.

1.On the 26th of July Kuala Lumpur will see a big gathering at Dataran Merdeka.

3.According to press reports 2000 (two thousand) policemen will ensure it is a peaceful gathering. How? By road blocks to search for weapons.

5.The Constitution allows for road blocks by the police. But the Constitution also stipulates that nothing should be done to obstruct the gathering.

7.However there will be certain groups who will carry weapons. They intend to show that the check at the blocks are justified.

8.This is a kind of deliberate abuse of power. We saw this in the Yusoff Rawther case. It is typical of PMX. Last time it was also abuse of power.

1. Since I pointed out that Johor and Malaysia are losing billions of Ringgit selling raw water at 3 sen per 1000 gallon to Singapore, nothing has been done by the present Government to negotiate for a fairer price for the water.

2. All that happens following my exposure is for the supporters of the Government to question my failure to negotiate when I was Prime Minister.

3. Newspaper reports and I am sure Government records will show how I tried to negotiate for a better price of the water. Even during the short period I was the Seventh Prime Minister there are records of negotiations over water instructed by me. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dato Sri Saifuddin Abdullah and The Attorney General, Tommy Thomas can testify to this. I myself raised this issue when I met the Prime Minister of Singapore officially.

4. Lee Hsien Loong agreed that the matter should be discussed by officials of the two countries. But the Foreign Minister of Singapore, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan in the Parliament questioned the need to discuss the matter.

5. There was only one occasion when a Malaysian Deputy Minister explained in Parliament that the price issue could not be discussed because Singapore would raise the price of treated water bought by Johor.

6. I would like to point out that before I resigned the Federal Government had allocated funds for Johor to build its own filtration plant, so that we need not buy treated water from Singapore.

7. I cannot understand why the plant was not built. I don’t understand why Johor prefer to buy treated water from Singapore at 50 sen per 1000 gallons.

8. Yes, the Malaysian Prime Ministers want to have friendly relation with Singapore. But I don’t think Singapore would break relation with Malaysia merely because we want a fair price for our water, we want to make some profit selling raw water to that island.
