We waited and prayed for a miracle that will end the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from the North. The Sameer Project was receiving hundreds of requests per day with pleas to move families from the North to the South. Support: https://t.co/M7BJBooQae

Eventually the Sameer Project took the difficult decision to send buses to evacuate the sick and injured from Al Shifa hospital to hospitals in the South. A shattering decision where we prioritized the survival of patients in hospitals who couldn’t afford to pay for transport.

The Sameer Project sent 3 buses that fits around 100 people total but around 150 people squeezed into the buses. With tears in their eyes and reluctance to leave, the patients and their companions went to the South - to the unknown. The buses allowed a bag pack or small bag with each passenger.

This was made possible thanks to your donations. The buses cost $5,304. The patients and their families néed tents which cost $1,100 each so 100 tents would cost us $110,000. Money that we don’t have but desperately need.
