Our hearts are heavy as we hear of Sen. John McCain’s passing. We have lost more than an American hero. We have lost an incredible human being who had integrity, honesty and humility rarely seen. Our thoughts are with his wife and children. Rest In Peace.
Our VP at National Night Out, a community event at the Crump Village Community Center Hosted by St. Matthews AME Church and Burlington Housing Authority. Way to go Erica!
We hope that all of those year-round folks have a good start to the year tomorrow. Please consider joining us in our pursuit for better education for our students. Link at top of NCAE webpage to join!
@abae_ncae hosted a fantastic Bynum Center Community Meal w/ help from @AlamanceNAACP & some awesome ABSS students from @hosa_sahs. We fed folks delicious food donated by @texasroadhouse & the First Baptist Church in @fbc508. Thanks to all who make this good work possible!

The ABAE family hoped that you have had a enjoyable Fourth of July and that you are enjoying your summer break. Thank you for everything you do for our students on a daily basis. #joinus
We are proud to join thousands of others today saying #FamiliesBelongTogether and calling to #EndFamilyDetention.
Immigrants are
Our students,
Our co-workers,
And our parents.
We will not stop fighting for their rights.
Powerful day in #TornilloTX. Thank you @votolatino for the opportunity and thank you to the educators who stood with me in calling for an end to this administration's zero-compassion policies. We will not fail these families and children. #EndFamilyDetention
