@Soloknivesonly@Runhob Things can always change if the people do something about it. It's just very very unlikely that the cod community will ever figure that out and agree on what's actually wrong
@xpertfusion3 I might not understand correctly but they're just ports, not remasters, so why do people think they would include DLCs? I do think that they should, and should be cheaper in general seeing that the game is almost 15 years old, but this is Activision.
@xpertfusion3 Somewhat unrelated but I wonder if there's gonna be massive lava rivers/lakes that can only be effectively crossed by riding on floating stones, like the intro. Kinda like a gondola
@bbysirenn I've yet to finish or really attempt this challenge but I'm def gonna try the directed + fireworks combo cuz I've heard it makes it easy, but with modern zombies' utter bs zombie ai and attack mechanics I feel like this challenge is gonna be a nightmare without "cheesing" it
@The_Safety_Net I mean, that's awesome that you guys enjoyed bo6 so much, and I get that if you play Cod for the camo grind, then that ends at some point, but it seems like he still has some grind left.
@The_Safety_Net Yeah it sucks that he was disappointed with the game that he bought with the hopes of liking it, but he can still go back and play the game that he did enjoy, and that was my point in saying that it's fine. Bo7 just isn't for him, but it is for the people who do enjoy it w/o CF
@The_Safety_Net I agree that that people are allowed to be upset by it, but your original post is agreeing with someone that carry forward should return (when it shouldn't) and using your brother's very normal experience of being disappointed a game as a reason why
@The_Safety_Net Ah okay. I wasn't sure of my memory, thanks for the proof. I think my point still stands though that they cancelled in before the game actually released, based on community feedback, so it's not really the same as going back on a promise.
@The_Safety_Net I get though that preorder probably opened up before they announced no carry forward, but I don't think they ever actually announced carry forward, it was just an expectation set by mwiii (which most people hated carry forward in).
@The_Safety_Net I agree that the whole "second year" thing is utter bs, but I'd rather that game still be somewhat unique despite that so that it's not just $70 to play the same game for another year. Also carry forward cancel was announced before release, so it wasn't really promised.
@imac234_ It's Bo4 all over again. Albeit Bo4 is significantly better than this game (imo), bo7 is the closest I've been to having as much fun as I have on Bo4 in a long time.
@letsgetcanceled@IsThatMaple Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking, but then it kinda steals the thunder of weeklies but I personally wouldn't have a problem with that, cuz it's just more stuff to earn. But I think that would set it as an expectation for future seasons and they wouldn't do that
@TheGhostOfHope I feel like the reason they try to innovate with the perks is because it's one of the only areas where they're really allowed to. Ever since MW2019's "success" it feels like every game is forced into a cookie cutter to be just like it with very little room for actual change
