@ZxG_09@StephaEnyinna How? Your surname could come from your female ancestor’s surname for all you know. If a surname comes from the mother of every generations after her, its a woman’s surname. Its called matrilineality, look it up.

The point is, it is more negative for the person forced to have it than it is for the person going without.

@InpMichael@BaileyisBratty I’m 45 and not sad about stranger men not being attracted to me, if thats what you mean. Ageism sucks mostly when you are a competent woman being overlooked professionnally. It’s the sexism, not the male validation they are angry about.
