You’re arguing as if Nigerians are asking for magic instead of demanding a system that actually works for the people. Nobody said “print money recklessly” or pay ₦500k overnight without structure. That’s the childish part of your argument reducing every criticism to “so where will the money come from?” while ignoring how badly resources are already being managed.

The same government that supposedly cannot improve wages somehow has money for luxury convoys, jumbo allowances, endless foreign trips, inflated contracts, and a political class living like billionaires. So spare us the lecture about “economic realities.”

You people always jump to salaries causing inflation, but remain silent when fuel prices, electricity tariffs, taxes, exchange rates, and cost of governance keep rising every few months. Those things don’t cause inflation too? Or inflation only matters when ordinary workers want better living conditions?

And let’s stop pretending Nigerians hate taxes or private investment. People hate paying taxes into a system where there’s little to show for it. Big difference. In functioning countries, citizens see roads, healthcare, transport, security, and stable power in return. Here, citizens pay more and still provide almost everything for themselves.

Also funny how you people suddenly become economists whenever citizens complain, but during campaigns everything was easy:
“We’ll strengthen the naira.”
“We’ll create jobs.”
“We’ll improve living conditions.”

Now that things are harder, the same people are telling citizens to “manage.”

Nobody is saying policy is easy. The point is simple: if the economy keeps getting “better” on paper while the average citizen keeps getting poorer in real life, then people have every right to question the leadership without being gaslighted with economics jargon every time.
