@iamfra5er But I think I understand where you are coming from. I tried to see your product (a database) and it makes sense. You have a type of product where you are expecting people to use it for a long period of time. It’s not a temporary use. Then just make it clear in the cancel page.

@iamfra5er Im used to the apple subscription. I pay and if I cancel it I expect to still have access to the end of the period. I don’t need a refund, and it’s not about valuing the product, it’s just that I want to avoid recurring subscriptions that I forget to cancel end of the month.

It was almost to the point that a particular presentation specifically stood out to me as unique just because that speaker used her own hand drawn illustrations for her slides

This is wild. Not only is Air Canada being forced to honor a refund invented by its AI chatbot, but they tried to get out of it by claiming the bot is "responsible for its own actions." Everyone wants AI, but no one wants to be responsible for it.

Apple TV user experience sometimes sucks vs netflix.

Two things annoying about @AppleTV right now
- devices don’t sync. AppleTv on TV doesn’t sync with progress from phone.
- too many skips needed to get to my episode. e.g. Foundation.

@whennirvana @jordienr I used both. React query provides better advanced usage config and also an official chrome extension to use to debug. I agree that swr is less verbose on some cases but for more advanced uses react query has more features.

Anyways, I never bought a domain from Google domains because Namecheap always offered what I wanted cheaper, and at somepoint Google domains didn’t have sales at my previous country of residence, so I never ended up using it

@Davidjpark96 A bit hard to convert people directly coming from a social app predominantly used on a mobile to pay money for an app that is best designed to be used on a desktop (pic shows some not responsive). Since you detect the utm, maybe add that discount to my account with a time limit.
