@nextdeltav@Noahpinion Great, when are we starting? Dying in holy nuclofire is unironically a better proposition than letting the billionaire class exist.
@andrew_rogers@ProfRobAnderson@jbarro Jusr came back from a holiday in a very AC-forward country. Ended up catching a stiff neck, and have been dealing with that for the last three weeks now. Can't you fuckers just use a fan instead of that horrible AC, it really sucks. At least hotel rooms without it are cheaper.
@fynanze_@temberaubend Nein.
@redtachyon Right? If you want a stable job, try government positions. Of course, pay will be lower, but part of the advantage package is not having to deal with the insane whims of a billionaire.
@JesusFerna7026 I'm confused; all this just assumes we SHOULD keep the population stable? Wouldn't it be much better for the earth system if we DROPPED human population by a substantial factor? Right now it's abnormally high anyway when mapped over human history.
@CharlieTTEcon@nicrypto right? wake me when we're at -50% yearly capacity. most flights should've just been a video call anyway, and holidays you don't HAVE don't spend on another xontinent at all.
@pathfinder342@giveashitnature They mow it FOR YOU? I always hear you have guns, castle doctrine and freedom over there, suddenly that makes a lot more sense.
@BetterDrivingUS@Penalosa_G 100% of ALL traffic accidents happened while people were on the move, indicating a necessity to just locking them all up at home.
@denisyurchak Good and necessar reality announcement. Important to add: That kind of bureaucracy and "A if B, but B only if A" kind of situations are NOT a uniquely Polish issue – they're the absolutely normal and benign reality of moving to most countries as a non-citizen.
@SoVeryBritish Voice notes offload the conversational effort from sender to receiver. They might have their use in romance ("I could listen to your voice for hours"), but in every other situation, they're just a big "fuck you". Luckily, dealing with them is simple: Just don't listen to them.
@HoeyberghsJeff yeah, and who's fault is that? road usage has increased by 200% since 1970, car ownership has quadrupled (!) since the 60ies. there's simply too many cars on the road for unhindered driving, reducing car numbers is the only solution for free roads!
@sab07079695@eeldenden much better idea, less loaded, and being proud of our nature is more unifying. also there's no quarrel about who has the "better" inventors/artists/etc.
