The most beautiful moment of the FIFA World Cup match between Morocco Netherlands was the players’ prostration (sujūd) to Allah after victory.
A powerful scene of humility, after effort, struggle, and success, they returned to the One who grants every victory.
In moments of global attention and celebration, such acts of faith remind the world that true success is not only in winning, but in gratitude to the Creator.
May Allah keep us humble in success and steadfast in every situation. 🤲
The Day of Arafah is unmatched in virtue. The Prophet says: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. For those not on Hajj, fasting on this day expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year, as he ﷺ said, “I hope from Allah that fasting on the Day of Arafah will expiate the year before it and the year after it”. It is the day Allah perfected the religion with the verse, “This day I have perfected for you your religion”, and the best du’a is the du’a of Arafah: “La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah…”
May Allah answer our prayers, heal our sick, forgive our parents and loved ones, bring peace and blessings to Nigeria, and admit us into His mercy.
Let’s say some dhikr.
Subhan'Allah.
Alhamdulillah.
Allahu Akbar.
Astagfirllah.
La ilaha illa Allah.
Subhanallahi Wa Bihamdihi.
Subhan Allahil Azeem.
Allahumma inni as'aluka al afiyah.
Rabbir hamhuma kama Rabba yani Sagheera
Allahumma Inni As'aluka Al Jannah.
Allahumma Ajirni Minan Naar.
La hawla wala quwwata illa billah.
Allahummaghfir lil muslimina wal muslimat wal mu'minina wal mu'minat wa ahya minhum wal amwaat.
Rabbi innee lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqir.
If you reached the end, well done.
May Allah accept it.
Ya Allah, Ya Rabb, Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum…
O Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving, the Lord of the heavens and the earth… have mercy upon this weak servant standing before You with nothing except need and hope.
Ya Allah, forgive all sins — the small and the great, the hidden and the visible, the past and the future, those known and unknown. Cleanse the heart completely from everything that displeases You. Purify the soul from hypocrisy, arrogance, envy, and heedlessness.
Ya Allah, do not let any sin become a barrier between Your mercy and Your servant. Do not allow any mistake to harden the heart or distance it from You. Wash every stain with Your forgiveness until the heart becomes pure again.
Ya Allah, guide completely. Do not leave the heart to itself for even the blink of an eye. Make every step, every decision, every thought aligned with what pleases You. Keep firm upon the straight path until the final breath.
Ya Allah, grant a heart that loves You more than anything else. A heart that finds peace in Your remembrance, comfort in Your words, and joy in obedience to You.
Ya Allah, forgive parents, forgive family, forgive loved ones, and make them among the righteous. Place barakah in their lives, protect them from harm, and guide them to what is best in this dunya and akhirah.
Ya Allah, heal every hidden pain, every silent struggle, every anxiety that no one else knows about. Replace it with sakinah — a peace that only comes from You.
Ya Allah, provide halal rizq that is pure, blessed, and sufficient. Open doors that seem closed, and remove burdens that feel heavy. Write ease after hardship, relief after difficulty, and light after darkness.
Ya Allah, protect from fitnah — the fitnah of the heart, of desires, of dunya, of people, and of misguidance. Keep the heart firm when others drift.
Ya Allah, do not let this life be the goal. Make Jannah the true destination. Make the final moment upon iman, with the kalimah on the tongue and Your pleasure upon the soul.
Ya Allah, free from the Fire. Save from punishment in the grave. Grant safety on the Day of Judgment when no one will stand except by Your mercy.
Ya Allah, accept every sincere tear, every whispered du’a, every silent hope that cannot even be put into words.
If nothing else is given, grant Your pleasure. Because when You are pleased, everything else becomes insignificant.
Ya Allah, You are Al-Ghafoor — forgive.
Ya Allah, You are Ar-Raheem — have mercy.
Ya Allah, You are Al-Kareem — give beyond expectation.
Ya Allah, You are Al-Wadood — love Your servant despite weakness.
Ameen ya Rabbal ‘Alamin.
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “There is no day upon which Allah frees more of His servants from the Hellfire than the day of Arafat. He draws near and then He boasts of them to the angels, saying: What do these servants want?”

Allahumma inni as'aluka rizq that flows into my life like Zamzam, constant, pure, and never running dry. Bless me with rizq that is abundant beyond what I can imagine, arriving in ways I never expect, and reaching me with ease, without struggle, at the right time.
In this blessed day ask Allah for forgiveness and mercy. Seek guidance and steadfastness in faith. Make dua for well-being in this life and the Hereafter. Remember your loved ones and the entire Ummah in your duas. Ask Allah for acceptance of your worship and good deeds.

Ya Allah, You are Al-Mujeeb, the One who responds to every spoken and unspoken prayer. You know the deepest needs of our hearts. Accept our duas, forgive our sins, and make them beneficial for us in this world and the hereafter. Keep us close to You and never turn away our dua's.
“And on the morning of the Day of Arafah, O Allah, do not let this day pass except that You have granted each of us what we long for, & filled our hearts with the abundance of Your generosity, pardon, & forgiveness.”
