One of the major issues plaguing Govandi is the construction of a waste to power plant. While the government claims that this plant will help in managing the city's waste, it is also a major threat to the environment. The emissions from the plant will add to the already high levels of pollution in the area, leading to various health hazards for the residents. The Deonar dumping ground, one of the largest landfills in Asia, is also a major contributor to the pollution in the area. The constant burning of garbage at the site has made the air toxic and has caused respiratory problems for the people living nearby. Apart from environmental concerns, Govandi is also facing a high unemployment rate. This is mainly due to the lack of industries and job opportunities in the area. The education level is also very low, with many children dropping out of school to support their families. This vicious cycle of poverty and lack of education is trapping the residents of Govandi in a never-ending struggle. The lack of basic amenities is also a major issue in Govandi. The area has a severe shortage of open spaces, gymnasiums, and parking facilities. The residents have to travel to other parts of the city for basic recreational activities. The absence of a free community marriage hall is also a major concern for the poor families in the area. The lack of a proper burial ground is also a cause of distress for the residents. Another pressing issue in Govandi is the high number of drug traffickers and drug addicts. The easy availability of drugs in the area has led to a rise in crime rates and has also affected the youth of the area. The foot over bridge at Baiganwadi and Shivaji Nagar junction is known as a killer signal due to the number of accidents that occur there every day. The absence of escalators and proper traffic management has made commuting a nightmare for the residents. As a resident of this area, We had discussions on many civic topics of Govandi with you a month ago, be it the encroached library, Pollution industries, healthcare & the selling of drugs, would have been great if you'd acted on it with intellectual minds, it is disheartening to see our MP turning a blind eye to these issues. We urge our MP to take responsibility and address these pressing issues in our area. It is their duty to ensure that the basic needs of the citizens are met. Instead of postponing these problems, it is time for them to take action and bring about a positive change in Govandi.

@skfaiyaz43 had shared a post on his Facebook profile expressing his views on a current social issue. However, little did he know that this post would attract the attention of some goons who would leave him with death threats and hateful comments. This incident not only reflects the toxic side of social media but also raises questions about the safety and security of individuals on these platforms.@CMOMaharashtra@Dev_Fadnavis@mieknathshinde@maha_governor@PMOIndia@HMOIndia@yadavakhilesh@GovandiCell@manoj_kotak@shewale_rahul@FarhanAzmiINC
In today's world, social media has become an integral part of our lives. It has transformed the way we communicate, interact, and share our thoughts and opinions with others. However, along with its benefits, social media has also brought about a darker side - cyberbullying. The recent incident of Faiyaz Shaikh receiving life-threatening comments on his Facebook post is a prime example of this issue.
I request to @CPMumbaiPolice@DGPMaharashtra to Instructed Shivaji Nagar police station to register FIR .
