The wife of Lt. Col. Asfandyar Wali, Dr. Aina, is reportedly the Head of Student Affairs at Sarhad University. Students were peacefully protesting over higher fees and the lack of classes at the university.

An argument broke out between Dr. Aina and some students, after which she called her husband. He allegedly arrived in uniform carrying a gun and threatened the students.

In the video, he appears to first hit a student with a stick and then starts hitting another student. The students start slapping him, and he opens fire on the students.

Officer’s wife (faculty member) caught in student protest at Sarhad University ❌

Students were protesting against the faculty, she was part of the problem they were protesting against. ✅

She went to speak with the students, where some youthias reportedly misbehaved with her. ❌

She went to speak with the students, where some ‘students’ (whom you don’t even know the names or identities of but still called them youthias because you literally lost your fucking mind) reportedly showed their frustration against the faculty, which is literally called a protest. There is no proof of any misbehaviour with the woman. ✅

She then called her husband, a military officer, for assistance. ❌

police personnel were already there there was no need to bring her husband. She did so just to scare them off with the army uniform and show dominance. ✅

When the officer arrived, some students (youthias) misbehaved with him as well, following which the unfortunate incident occurred. ❌

When the officer arrived, he can be seen in the footage hurling abuses already, and he went ahead and struck a boy in a white shalwar kameez first. ✅

He arrives to protect her, gets attacked, and fires warning shots. ❌

He wasn’t needed there. He arrived just to show them his military might, attacked a student first, and got dragged away rightfully✅
