Imran Khan’s health in prison is once again drawing international attention, with his family, supporters and fellow cricketers calling for medical treatment and improved access to care.
His family says he has suffered he has been mistreated in custody including isolation, prevented from seeing relatives and lawyers and lack of access to medical care.
Three years into his imprisonment, questions over his health, legal status and Pakistan’s political future continue to fuel debate.

Sulaiman Khan and Kasim Khan were interviewed by former England captain and one of the signatories of the letter sent to PM Shabaz Sharif, Michael Atherton, appealing to treat him with dignity and to ensure Supreme Court regards his medical treatment are followed.
This was aired during the lunch break today, of the first day of the second test match at Lords, where Pakistan are playing England.
