Amidst the ongoing conflict between the Bachama and Tshobo Christian militias in Adamawa State, Commander Mutuwa has issued a two-hour ultimatum to Commander Ba Shege. The move follows a widely circulated media video in which Ba Shege was seen threatening Mutuwa.
Me: see names oo, I thought it's only Southern Kaduna ppl that get this kind names 😭
Fuel markets are complex, but commercial logic is often simple.
Recent claims have suggested that products produced locally are exported to neighbouring countries and then re-imported into Nigeria. Before accepting such claims, it is worth asking a few important questions:
• Does it make commercial sense to incur additional shipping, storage, financing and handling costs only for a product to return and compete in its largest and closest market?
• Who benefits financially from such a transaction?
• Where is the value created along the chain?
Nigeria remains one of the largest fuel markets in Africa, and domestic demand remains the priority. Exports occur only for volumes not purchased by domestic marketers.
As with any market discussion, facts, economics, and commercial realities matter.
Swipe through to understand the commercial logic behind the conversation.

Diminishing the Dynasty: Why Uba Sani’s 'Legacy' List Proves Kaduna is Moving Backward
Reviewing the current Kaduna State government’s publicized "legacy projects" is a deeply disheartening experience for anyone who witnessed the state's previous trajectory. It is tragic to see how quickly Kaduna has transitioned from Malam Nasir El-Rufai’s deliberate, visionary urban renewal master plan into an era of undeniable mediocrity. God forgive me for my 2023 vote; we expected a continuation of excellence, but we received a steep downgrade.
The desperation to manufacture achievements under the current administration is laid bare by the composition of this list. Packaging a basic skills acquisition center as a state-level "legacy" project is frankly embarrassing. This is the kind of routine, micro-level intervention routinely handled by federal lawmakers through standard constituency allowances not the hallmark of a transformative gubernatorial tenure.
Worse still is the blatant attempt to claim borrowed glory. A closer look at the heavily praised list reveals that at least two of the major projects were entirely conceptualized, planned, and initiated under the El-Rufai administration. Attempting to pass off inherited foundations as novel, historic milestones exposes a profound lack of original vision.
Kaduna did not become a hub of modern infrastructure by aiming low. We built a reputation on audacious, systemic development that completely modernized our urban centers. To see that grand blueprint substituted with baseline projects and recycled achievements proves that the current leadership is simply marking time. Kaduna is moving backward, and public relations cannot hide the governance deficit.
Another day, another political arrest in Kaduna.
Reports indicate that the DSS has allegedly detained political activist Ismail Sahabi in Kaduna. He was arrested following his appearance on Alheri Radio's 11:00 AM program Zare da Abawa today (22/06/2026) in Zaria, where he criticized Uba Sani.
Severe clashes persist between Bachama and Tshobo Christian militias in Lamurde LGA, Adamawa State, resulting in continuous attacks, killings, and the destruction of villages.
Both sides have suffered heavy human and material losses, including casualties, burned homes, destroyed churches, and ruined community infrastructure.
The statement urges the Adamawa State Government and security agencies to immediately intervene, restore order, and investigate the violence.
It emphasizes that to end the cycle of violence and restore lasting peace, authorities must hold perpetrators from all sides accountable by prosecuting them for arson, murder, and other criminal acts.
A lot of Christians complain that some mosques block the road during Friday prayers in Abuja.
They have forgotten that a lot of churches do the same thing on Sundays.
In fact mosques don't block the road for more than 30min tops, but churches block theirs for hours depending on how many services they have in their churches.
This is a video of one of them😌.
