one thing i’ve learnt from past situations is that people are fully aware of what they’re doing and they WILL take advantage of that once they realise how soft you are on them. if you’re constantly allowing them to cross boundaries with no consequences they will abuse that power

I actually can’t ever imagine hurting people the way they’ve hurt me. I have such a hard time understanding & grasping how it happened or why it happened, because I simply would never do that to someone else. it’s hard to accept that some people are just cruel.
