BMTC buses stopping in the main lane to board/deboard are a major trigger for ORR peak-hour gridlock. One bus blocks a lane, forced merges slow adjacent lanes, the slowdown cascades until the whole corridor crawls for hours. We need bus bays/lane @blrcitytraffic@krishnabgowda
An NRI living in UK had terrible tooth pain.
After calling 2–3 dental clinics, he finally got an appointment. But it was only a consultation.
The earliest root canal appointment available was 3 weeks later.
The pain was so bad that he came to India, got treated in 2 days, flew back and still spent less than he would have for the treatment in UK 😲
My neighbour is a cab driver in Mumbai. drives 14 hours a day. 6 days a week.
Last week heavy rain. he slipped on a wet platform. fractured his wrist.
Hospital bill came to 22000 rupees.
He has insurance through the aggregator app. he filed a claim. they rejected it. reason? he was not on a live trip when the accident happened. he was walking to his car after a drop off.
So the insurance only covers him when a passenger is inside the car. not when he is walking. not when he is eating. not when he is breathing.
He asked them to reconsider. they sent a generic email with a link to policy terms.
He is back on the road today with one hand. Because rent is due.
Meanwhile the aggregator CEO gave a press interview about how they are creating employment for millions.
Employment. not dignity. not safety. not life.
We celebrate gig economy like its progress.
Tell that to a man who is insured only when he is making money for someone else.

Urgent humanitarian appeal.
My father, Umakanta Mohapatra, is in the ICU in India. Doctors say he urgently needs #VYXEOS by Wednesday to begin treatment.
Payment to Beldimed was completed last week, but the medicine hasn't been dispatched.
Help!
One guy is looting money by forcing Ethanol
Another is land grabbing for his real estate empire
One is making money from leaking exam papers
Another is looting by selling the Nicobar Island
Top to bottom, everything is corrupt and compromised in this Modi govt.
Tried @WindscribeCom for a few days and came away impressed. Fast speeds, reliable connections, and easy-to-use apps. Solid VPN choice. #Windscribe#VPN
@Bangalorereal1 Prestige has cheated the owners of Prestige City by making fake promises of open areas and then launching 3 new projects inside Prestige City ( Fernsvale, Eaton and now Garden Breeze )
How dare the @BlrCityPolice stop Muslims for riding on one way without helmets? this is insane.
Now Look, offender with the skull cap is offended that the police didn't speak to him with enough 'respect'.
Anyway, this is how it works 👇
1) Break every rule.
2) Intimidate and harass the police when they stop them.
3) Bring out the burqa clad women from the house and play the victim card, if arrested.
Really hoping the police officer doesn't get suspended for actually doing his duty. Fingers crossed the Congress government doesn't gift a nice 3.5 BHK apartment to that offender uncle for the grave crime of not being spoken to with enough 'respect' while he was driving the wrong way on a one way street🤞
A railway staff member allegedly tried to sit on another passenger’s reserved seat inside a train from Mumbai to Amritsar.
When the actual seat owner refused to give up the seat, the staff member reportedly said,
“This is my train… I work for the Railways. How can you stop me from sitting here?”
After the argument escalated, he allegedly pulled the emergency chain and declared,
“The train will not move until you allow me to sit.”
Soon, the RPF arrived at the spot.
But instead of taking action against the chain pulling, the situation reportedly took a different turn. The staff member introduced himself, the chain was fixed, the train was allowed to move again… and he eventually sat on the same seat.
What shocked many people even more was what happened next.
The staff member allegedly looked at the passenger and said,
“Now say something.”
The passenger stayed silent… probably because even the authorities present did not object.
According to railway rules, unnecessary chain pulling can lead to penalties and strict action. That’s why many people online are now questioning whether power and position should be used like this against ordinary passengers.
What do you think? Was this behavior justified or was it misuse of authority? Share your opinion.
As per DGCA rules, if a flight is delayed by more than 2 hours, the airline is supposed to provide snacks, water, and tea. If the delay goes beyond 3 hours, they are required to provide meals.
Recently, a SpiceJet flight was delayed by over 2 hours, but they kept making excuses to avoid providing refreshments.
Passenger: Your SpiceJet flight has been delayed by more than 2 hours. Will you not provide us with refreshments?
Staff: Earlier, the delay was not more than 2 hours, so we didn’t provide anything.
Passenger: But now it’s been more than 2 hours, right?
Staff: Yes.
Passenger: So will you provide refreshments now or not? Please clearly say yes or no.
Staff: We don’t have refreshments available right now. We would have to bring them from market.
Passenger: There are refreshments available inside the airport, please arrange them from there.
Staff: We would have to bring them from market. There’s double security screening at the entry, so it would take time. It won’t be possible urgently. The flight will probably arrive by then.
Airlines charge passengers immediately even if the luggage is 1 kg over the limit. But when flights are delayed, they start making excuses.
@Bangalorereal1 Another choke point on Varthur main road created which is already crumbling under heavy traffic, builders just want to build, build and build without caring about traffic issues or access roads
Dear @IncomeTaxIndia, stop taking income tax even before salary is credited to my bank account. Who worked the whole month, you or me? Have some common sense. At the end of the year, if I owe taxes after expenses, I will pay them, just like corporates do. Why is the salaried middle class treated differently every single time? Stop this nonsense. Enough of squeezing honest taxpayers. @FinMinIndia@nsitharaman
In case anyone is still not aware, this is the type of harassment we are putting our kids under just before their important exams.
This might be from some show but this is exactly how it is done. Some years ago, they even had instructions about undergarments.
This is stupidity of highest order if they cannot anyway stop the paper leaks. The adult responsibility is being transferred on teenagers.
No motivation, no exam pe charcha, no premanand ji maharaj, nothing will help if you cannot fix the system. Then you want these kids to stay in India & work with worst type of Govt hospitals setups.
This is becoming a madhouse as we speak. Someday your own kid will face this. NEET paper leak must be set as an example.

A cautionary tale about @urbancompany_uc and how a publicly listed company handles damage claims.
Booked their technician (Sanju Kumar) to install a Luminous inverter at my home in Bangalore. Routine job. Should've been 2 hours.
Invoice no: UCIC260004101947
Complaint no: 69f362690db9530026fe28d7
Instead of a standard install, he opened the main switchboard and worked with MAINS LIVE violating the most basic electrical safety rule. Phase-neutral cross-connection caused a ~280V surge through my home wiring.
Within minutes:
• Geyser circuit dead - Approximation given is around 12,000 to fix
• 55" Smart TV motherboard fried, panel and screen damaged - looking at full loss ( Rs 48,000)
• Apple TV completely destroyed (₹14,900 replacement)
• Home electrical wiring compromised (Assessing currently)
The moment Sanju Kumar realized he'd damaged the geyser, he packed up and LEFT mid-job. Inverter still uninstalled. No fix. No apology. No accountability.
Had to hire a different electrician the next day to fix the wiring he broke out of my own pocket.
Filed formal complaint with UC. Specifically requested a SENIOR technician for independent damage assessment.
UC's response? They sent SANJU KUMAR BACK. The same person who caused the damage. To "take photos" of his own work and walk away.
He showed up, photographed the damage he caused, left without resolution. No claims process opened. No callback.
When we asked UC for a complaint ID, it took multiple follow-ups and a manual download of a tax invoice to extract any documentation. They were not proactive in issuing one almost as if to avoid creating a paper trail.
3 sleepless nights. ₹40,000+ in documented damages. Complete radio silence from UC corporate after that.
@urbancompany_uc@abhirajbhal@raghavchandra@varunkhaitan — your company is publicly listed now. Retail and institutional shareholders are watching how customer grievances are handled.
Is THIS the customer experience model investors signed up for?
1. Technician violates basic electrical safety
2. Damages multiple appliances and home wiring
3. Walks off mid-job when he realizes his mistake
4. Same technician sent back to "investigate" his own damage
5. Customer chases for documentation that should've been auto-generated
6. Then gets ghosted
Listed companies are held to a higher standard of corporate governance, customer protection, and grievance redressal. SEBI compliance and investor disclosures aren't just about quarterly numbers they extend to how the brand treats its customers.
This isn't how a publicly listed company should operate.
Asking for:
1. Independent senior technician (not Sanju Kumar) to assess damage
2. Compensation for documented damages: ₹90,000+
3. Formal acknowledgment of complaint 69f362690db9530026fe28d7
4. Process review — no customer should have to extract their own complaint ID
5. Public clarification on UC's damage claims SOP
Have all invoices, technician's diagnosis report confirming overvoltage cause, photos, timestamps, and WhatsApp records.
please be careful. If a clearly documented case is handled this way, imagine the cases without paper trails.

"Train number 12510, from Guwahati to Bengaluru… just another journey, until one small incident caught everyone’s attention,"
"In the sleeper coach, a vendor was moving from seat to seat, selling fruit cakes as if everything was normal,"
"A passenger picked up a packet, checked the MRP — ₹40 — and was about to pay,"
"But the vendor stopped him and said, ‘It will be ₹50, sir,’"
"The passenger paused and calmly asked, ‘The MRP is ₹40… why ₹50?’"
"The vendor replied without hesitation, ‘Sir, I delivered it to your seat, there’s a ₹10 service charge,’"
"And that’s where things got interesting,"
"The passenger responded firmly, ‘I’ll only pay ₹40… and I need a bill,’"
"The vendor changed his tone, sounding a bit emotional, ‘Sir, we have families to feed… we have to charge a little extra,’"
"But the passenger didn’t budge, ‘You’re already paid for this job… this extra charge is illegal. If needed, I’ll file a complaint with IRCTC,’"
"The vendor just smiled and said, ‘Tell whoever you want… we always charge ₹50,’"
"The rest of the coach stayed silent, but everyone was listening,"
"No one spoke up… maybe because this has now become ‘normal,’"
"But the real question is — has MRP become just a number printed on the packet?"
"This isn’t about ₹10… it’s about accountability in the system,"
"If this continues, overcharging in the name of ‘service’ will become routine,"
"It’s time for strict action… otherwise even those who raise their voice will eventually fall silent,"
I must confess I didn't see a team, as studded with stars as #MumbaiIndians is, come apart like this. The only possible indicator could have been that, Bumrah apart, the others hadn't had an outstanding T20WC. But nobody could have predicted this. I had thought aloud about a hypothesis on my YT channel that reputation is becoming a burden in modern T20 cricket as a possible reason. I don't know if all the forces within were aligned but that could be another. And the experiment with Hardik Pandya as captain is now 3 years old and it has delivered a play-off only once so maybe something isn't working there. But I bet nobody saw #MI not making the play-offs.
9,000 Microsoft employees got an email at lunch today.
Take the money. Go home.
The safest job in tech. Gone in an afternoon.
Nobody called it a firing.
They called it a retirement gift.
This is 2026.
Her name is Rohini Sindhuri.
She is a 2009 batch IAS officer posted in Karnataka.
In 2018, she was the District Collector of Hassan. She discovered illegal sand mining happening every night from the rivers in her district. She stopped it.
Local politicians were furious. They went to the Chief Minister.
Within days, she was transferred out of Hassan.
She fought it in the Karnataka High Court. The court ruled her transfer was illegal and ordered the government to reinstate her.
The government reinstated her.
Then transferred her again.
She went back to court. She kept going back to court every single time the system tried to silence her.
Between 2018 and 2023, she was transferred seven times. Each transfer came within weeks of her exposing something.
She never stopped working. She never stopped filing cases. She never stopped showing up.
India has a system where honesty is punished with transfers. Rohini Sindhuri refused to accept that as her final answer.
She is still in service today.
