#ihateamazon. My Amazon account got hacked and they closed it- I just lost over 22,000 books. I’ve had this account for 15 years. I can’t access it, they said I closed it which I didn’t- why would I close it after paying for prime. I want my freaking books back!! I want my money!

@AmazonHelp I never got an email. Several people said the account was closed 1 supervisor said it was hacked & would send it to the escalation dept. I received nothing. I was charged for a prime channel today on an account that was “closed “ I want my books back

@AmazonHelp The supervisor said since the email was changed they would call the number associated with the account. I’ve heard nothing yet I’m being charged for things I can’t access- audible, kindle unlimited, prime- which I paid on 12/22/25. Why would I close?

@Benedicte_Tech Yes, no one can tell me what happened. It supposedly takes 3 times to close an account. I didn’t do it . They said the email was changed and they can’t tell me what it was changed too.
